Bible School in Kiev
Bre Andrew Bramhill and Kevin Sweeney gave six talks each on the Life of David, and on the Parables of Jesus.
Over the weekend we built up to a total of 100 people. This included youngsters and interested friends who had come to learn about the Bible.
It was good to have a strong group of students in the ‘Foundations’ class. Some of them, teenagers, had also come last year.
We had two workshop sessions in the afternoons, one on ‘Working together’ and the other for making ‘Thank you’ cards, both of which were well attended.
It was pleasing to hear talks by Bro Alex on ‘Samson’ and Bro Igor on ‘Astronomy’.
The last-night concert was entertaining, the children acting out with gusto the attack on the Jew going down to Jericho and his rescue by the kind-hearted Samaritan. Songs, hymns by the English, and poem recitals completed the programme.
